Next to nature in quiet comfort.

Accommodation

The Lodge is accessed from the B729 via the short private driveway to Greenhead Farm. Parking is available around the property. All entrances are to the rear maintaining privacy and easy access to the terraced area. The Lodge has been created from the conversion of the Farm's barn, sitting at the entrance to the steading yard and so is remote from the part time farming activities. Views are to rolling farmland lying above the Cairn valley. The Cumbrian Fells and the Solway Firth form the backdrop to the views from the fields behind the Lodge.

Recent building standards have been incorporated and the levels of insulation in particular will ensure a most comfortable environment throughout the year. On the ground floor there is an open plan layout comprising lounge with smart TV and DVD player, part partitioned by the chimney with wood-burning stove; dining area and fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher and fridge freezer. Also leading from the entrance hall there is a shower room and a large twin-bedded room with TV, convertible to kingsize double. On the first floor there are a further three twin-bedded rooms, two of which lead off the landing- one is again convertible, with the third a suitably private gallery type layout above the lounge, also convertible. The bathroom includes a screened over-bath shower.

A utility/drying room is separately accessed beside the Lodge which in addition to housing a washing machine and tumble dryer is a wet-room style, for handling any wet outdoor gear.

Fibre optic broadband for high speed internet has been installed.

Directly off the utility room is the large sauna which easily seats up to eight, and a games room with 6'x3' slate bed pool table- convertible to table-tennis use- and dartboard.

Bed linen is provided, but not for the cot. Towels are not provided.
